IntelliStay Hospitality is led by David Lesser and Patrick Haynes, who have approximately 45 years of combined real estate investment, finance, and management experience.

Mr. Lesser has over 30 years of investment and operational experience in real estate, including real estate acquisitions, management, and financing. In addition, Mr. Lesser has experience building and running public companies.
Mr. Lesser sponsored the reverse merger reorganization of a small Real Estate Investment Trust (“REIT”). His firm, Hudson Bay Partners LP, invested $25 million, merged two companies into ARI, and ultimately formed Keystone Property Trust (ticker: KTR). In 2004, KTR was sold to another REIT (ProLogis) for $1.7 Billion. Mr. Lesser served as a Director of the company during its formative building years and was instrumental in getting this transaction off the ground. In addition to serving as a Director for KTR, he has served as Director of Santa Fe Gaming Corp. (a public company). Mr. Lesser currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Power REIT (ticker: PW) and Millennium Investment & Acquisition Company (ticker: SMCG).
Mr. Lesser earned an MBA and a BS in Economics from Cornell University.

Mr. Haynes has over 10 years of direct real estate private equity and investment experience. Mr. Haynes’ experience ranges from sourcing, underwriting, and financing executions across all major asset classes and in various US markets.
Most recently, Mr. Haynes was employed by Alliance Partners HSP (“Alliance”), an opportunistic real estate investment venture backed by Jay Shidler and based in Philadelphia. Prior to joining Alliance in 2013, Mr. Haynes had founded his own real estate investment business in Washington, D.C. From 2010 to 2012, Mr. Haynes worked for the Rockefeller Group Investment Management Corp. (“RGIM”), where he was responsible for the financial analysis for RGIM’s corporate acquisitions and direct real estate investments, and supported institutional fundraising and business development. Mr. Haynes began his career at Lehman Brothers in 2007 in the Real Estate Private Equity Group.
Mr. Haynes received a BA in U.S. History from Brown University.
